Process Model

 Process Model (Draw.io)

Our team is working with a program assistant for the Chatham University Business Department. As such, our process model illustrates the general workings of this department. The process begins with the assignment of tasks by the director, which are broken down and subsequently handled by other staff members. The program assistant works especially with the management of online data such as keeping the department Trello progress board up to date and updating social media, which can then be accessed by students and others seeking to view the information. The program assistant also works to proofread and evaluate the general quality of reports in the department.

The process model is presented in a standard swimlane format as outlined by David Kroenke’s MIS Essentials textbook. The primary roles are the director of the department, the program assistant, other department staff, and students accessing the site; we also included web media as an additional role, as these repositories of data are the result of contributions from several different members and not one single role.
