Data Model


                Directly following our second interview, our team created a flowchart demonstrating the direction of data flows described by our professional contact. From this, we created our relational database which divides the major types of data categorically.
                The primary locations of data we identified are Facebook, Blog, and Trello content. The data types are articles, events, newsletter updates, spotlight postings, unfinished web posts, and promotion information from social media.








Our first Table outlines the different types of content and gives a brief description of them. The second Status table includes the post location types (Trello, Blog, and Facebook) as well as the completion statuses associated with these (unfinished, which are undergoing completion by staff; completed, which are publishable works; and ongoing, which have no defined point of completion such as viewership stats). The third table shows audiences for data, which can be either students or working staff members. The academic level of students can also further divide data for organizational purposes.
